There are 40 slots available for the Pennsylvania State Police Law and Leadership Academy. Application is open to any male or female student, over the age of 18 and has graduated from high school or obtained a GED. The program is for applicants seeking a career as a law enforcement officer. The applicant shall reside or attend school in the Northwest Pennsylvania area, which encompasses the counties Erie, Crawford, Warren, Venango, Mercer, Forest, Clarion, Jefferson, Lawrence and Butler counties. Individuals outside specified counties will also be considered and are strongly encouraged to apply.

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from class would change from PM hours 0745 -1200
